GINGERBREAD with Dates and Apples INGREDIENTS
- 12 Medjool dates (the atypical variety)
Plan for about 16 Medjool dates if you choose the original or organic variety.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 g of almond flour
- 200 g of honey
- 15 cl of almond milk
- 70 g of coconut oil
- 1 packet of baking powder (11 g)
- 2 teaspoons of four-spice mix
- 3 tablespoons of orange blossom water
- Zest of one orange
PREPARATION
Pit the dates and cut them into small cubes. Heat the milk, honey, and coconut oil without boiling, then pour the mixture over the dates and blend everything in a blender. Mix the base with the dry ingredients. Add the orange zest. Bake in individual molds of your desired shape at 170°C (340°F) for 25 to 30 minutes.
To add freshness, you can add some diced apple purée and a piece of date. Enjoy as a snack!
